Olympia Dukakis (20. Juni 1931 – 1. Mai 2021) war eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. Sie wirkte in über 130 Theaterproduktionen, mehr als 60 Filmen und 50 Fernsehserien mit. Bekannt wurde sie vor allem als Filmschauspielerin, ihre Karriere begann sie jedoch am Theater. Kurz nach ihrer Ankunft in New York City gewann sie 1963 einen Obie Award als Beste Hauptdarstellerin für ihre Off-Broadway-Performance in Bertolt Brechts „Man Equals Man“. Später wechselte sie zum Film und gewann unter anderem einen Oscar und einen Golden Globe für ihre Leistung in „Mondsüchtig“ (1987). Für „Sinatra“ (1992) erhielt sie eine weitere Golden-Globe-Nominierung sowie Emmy-Nominierungen für „Lucky Day“ (1991), „More Tales of the City“ (1998) und „Johanna von Orleans“ (1999). Dukakis' Autobiografie „Ask Me Again Tomorrow: A Life in Progress“ wurde 2003 veröffentlicht. 2018 kam in den USA ein abendfüllender Dokumentarfilm über ihr Leben mit dem Titel „Olympia“ in die Kinos.
