Biografie:

Isaach oder Isaac de Bankolé (* 12. August 1957 in Abidjan, Elfenbeinküste) ist ein ivorischer Schauspieler. De Bankolé wurde in Abidjan, Elfenbeinküste, als Sohn von Yoruba-Eltern aus Benin geboren. Seine Großeltern stammen aus Nigeria. 1975 zog er für sein letztes Schuljahr nach Paris und absolvierte dort ein Masterstudium in Physik und Mathematik. Anschließend besuchte er eine Flugschule und erwarb die Privatpilotenlizenz. Eine zufällige Begegnung mit dem französischen Regisseur Gérard Vergez führte ihn schließlich zur Aufnahme eines Studiums am Cours Simon, einer Pariser Schauspielschule.
