Roger John Christian ist ein englischer Bühnenbildner, Produktionsdesigner und Spielfilmregisseur. Er gewann einen Oscar für seine Arbeit am Original-Star-Wars-Film und wurde für seine Arbeit an Alien für den Oscar nominiert. Christian führte Regie bei der Second Unit von „Die Rückkehr der Jedi-Ritter“ und „Star Wars: Episode I – Die dunkle Bedrohung“ sowie bei Spielfilmen wie „The Sender“ und „Nostradamus“. Er führte außerdem Regie bei „Battlefield Earth“ aus dem Jahr 2000. Er entwarf das Requisit des Lichtschwertgriffs für „Star Wars“.
