Martin Hayter Short, CM (* 26. März 1950) ist ein kanadischer Komiker, Schauspieler, Autor, Sänger und Produzent. Er ist vor allem für seine komödiantischen Auftritte bekannt, insbesondere in den Fernsehsendungen SCTV und Saturday Night Live. Außerdem spielte er in zahlreichen beliebten Komödien wie „Die drei Amigos“, „Die Reise ins Ich“, „Pure Luck“, „Dschungel 2 Dschungel“, „Mars Attacks!“, „Vater der Braut“ und „Vater der Braut Teil 2“.
