Biografie:

Lukas Daniel Haas wurde als Sohn des aus Deutschland emigrierten Künstlers Berthold Haas und der Autorin Emily Tracy geboren und ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler und Musiker. Seine erste Filmrolle spielte er 1983 als Kind in dem Film „Testament“, der sich mit dem nuklearen Holocaust beschäftigt. Größere Bekanntheit erlangte er 1985 in „Der einzige Zeuge“. Seine Darstellung eines Amish-Jungen wurde von der Kritik positiv aufgenommen. Es folgten Rollen in Filmen wie „Solarbabies“ (1986) und „Die Dame in Weiß“ (1988). 1989 trat er in dem Film „Music Box“ als 12-jähriger Enkel eines Einwanderers auf, der beschuldigt wird, ein Kriegsverbrecher zu sein. Für diese Rolle wurde er für den Young Artist Award nominiert. Weitere bekannte FIlme sind „Mars Attacks!“ (1996), „Inception“ (2010), „The Revenant“ (2015) und „First Man“ (2018).
