Antonia Eugenia „Nia“ Vardalos (* 24. September 1962) ist eine kanadisch-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Drehbuchautorin, Regisseurin und Produzentin. Ihr bekanntestes Werk ist der Film „My Big Fat Greek Wedding“ aus dem Jahr 2002, für den sie für den Oscar in der Kategorie „Bestes Originaldrehbuch“ und den Golden Globe Award als „Beste Hauptdarstellerin – Komödie/Musical“ nominiert wurde. Sie spielte außerdem in der Fortsetzung „My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2“ und der Fernsehserie „My Big Fat Greek Life“ mit. Sie wirkte in den Filmen „Connie and Carla“, „My Life in Ruins“, „I Hate Valentine's Day“ und „Helicopter Mom“ mit. Im Fernsehen war sie als Domino in „Knight Rider“ und als Annie Spiro in „Graves“ zu sehen. Gemeinsam mit ihrem damaligen Ehemann, dem Schauspieler Ian Gómez, moderierte sie die US-amerikanische Backshow „The Great American Baking Show“.
