George Gaynes, eigentlich George Jongejans (* 16. Mai 1917 in Helsinki, Großfürstentum Finnland; † 15. Februar 2016 in North Bend, Washington) war ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. In Deutschland wurde er vor allem durch die Rolle des Polizeikommandanten Eric Lassard bekannt, den er in den insgesamt sieben Filmen der erfolgreichen Komödienreihe Police Academy verkörperte.
