Hugh Michael Jackman (* 12. Oktober 1968 in Sydney, New South Wales) ist ein australischer Schauspieler, Filmproduzent und Sänger, der besonders als Wolverine in der X-Men-Filmreihe sowie durch den Action-Thriller "Passwort: Swordfish" (2001) bekannt wurde. Große Erfolge erzielte er auch als Musicaldarsteller, besonders mit der Rolle des Peter Allen in "The Boy from Oz" und als Jean Valjean in "Les Misérables" (2012). Gemeinsam mit John Palermo gründete er die Filmfirma Seed Productions.
