Darryl Hickman (28. Juli 1931 – 21. Mai 2024) avancierte zu einem bedeutenden amerikanischen Schauspieler, dessen Karriere vom Kinderstar bis zu Erwachsenenrollen reichte. Schon in jungen Jahren begann er seine Karriere in der Filmbranche und stellte sein Talent in bekannten Filmen wie „Früchte des Zorns“ und „Die menschliche Komödie“ unter Beweis. Hickmans Vielseitigkeit ermöglichte es ihm, sowohl als Schauspieler als auch später als Regisseur tätig zu sein und an Fernsehserien wie „Die wunderbare Welt von Disney“ und „Rauchende Colts“ mitzuwirken. Seine Leidenschaft für die Schauspielerei zeigte sich auch im Schreiben: Er veröffentlichte aufschlussreiche Bücher über das Showbusiness und arbeitete als Schauspielcoach.
