John „Bud“ Cardos war ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Stuntman und Filmregisseur. Er führte erstmals Regie bei The Red, White, and Black. Cardos ist das Thema der 2016 erschienenen Biografie Action! des Schauspielers Robert Dix und seiner Frau Lynette Dix. Robert Dix und Cardos spielten zusammen in dem von Al Adamson inszenierten Bikerfilm Satan’s Sadists. Cardos trat als er selbst auf und sprach über seine Stuntkarriere im Dokumentarfilm Danger God, der von seinem Freund und Stuntman-Kollegen Gary Kent handelt.
