For several hundred years, the image of heaven held a very important place in both the Andean worldview and the traditions of Catholic Christianity. With the conquest of the New World, these two visions met, blending in a clear fusion, and to this day, we have received this synthesis expressed in the Baroque Quechua Religious Hymn of 1631, Hanaq Pacha Kusikuynin, from Andahuaylillas.
