Música barroca del Perú: Dos Cachuas del Códice Martínez Compañón (2007)
We know that our land, our Andes, provided important testimonies and contributions, exquisite and very particular expressions concerning an American Baroque: The Quechua Religious Hymn "Hanaq Pacha Kusikuynin" published in the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas, Province of Quispicanchi, Cusco, for example, is one of the most important examples of this invaluable contribution since it is one of the first polyphonic works written in the new world.
