Laberinto envenenado (2001)
Una adaptación contemporánea de Otelo ambientada en una elitista escuela privada. Odin James (Mekhi Phifer), una promesa del baloncesto, es el único estudiante negro de la escuela. Odin es el sueño de cualquier ojeador de baloncesto, pues tiene el talento y el aplomo necesario para saltar directamente del instituto al deporte profesional. Odin no sólo goza de una gran popularidad entre sus compañeros, sino que además está saliendo con Desi Brable (Julia Stiles), la bella hija del Decano de la Palmetto Grove Academy. Hugo Goulding (Josh Hartnett), el hijo del decano, siente una envida tan grande por Odin que hará todo lo posible por hacer nacer en él el monstruo de los celos.
