¿Qué más puede pasar? (2001)
Kevin y Max han forjado sus respectivas carreras a través del robo: Kevin Caffrey (Martin Lawrence) es un ladrón profesional con un gusto por las cosas finas y el billonario Max Fairbanks (Danny DeVito) es un despiadado hombre de negocios acostumbrado a conseguir lo que quiere. Cuando el siguiente objetivo de Kevin, para llevar a cabo un atraco nocturno sin problemas, es la casa de playa supuestamente desocupada de Max, Kevin interrumpe a éste con Miss Septiembre, aparece la policía y Kevin es arrestado. Sin embargo, al estar Kevin esposado, Max le quita a Kevin de la mano su anillo de la suerte y le dice a la policía que es suyo para llevar a cabo su propia venganza. Ahora las líneas de combate han quedado marcadas: El anillo era de la novia de Kevin, y éste hará cualquier cosa por recobrarlo.
