Tony Bennett: An American Classic fue un especial de televisión ganador del Premio Emmy que celebra la vida del ícono musical Tony Bennett con motivo de su 80º cumpleaños. Dirigida por Rob Marshall (Memoirs of a Geisha, Chicago), traza la carrera de Bennett recreando fielmente lugares de su pasado, desde el club del centro de Greenwich Village donde fue descubierto, hasta los estudios de grabación de Columbia de principios de los 60, desde rata empaca Las Vegas en el Carnegie Hall. Bennett se une a cada número por los artistas que colaboraron con él en su álbum Duets, con actuaciones musicales de Barbra Streisand, John Legend, k.d. lang, Chris Botti, Diana Krall, Juanes, Elton John, Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder y Christina Aguilera.
