En una ciudad de un futuro no muy lejano en la que las grandes corporaciones actúan sin límite, un experimento de Marketing está siendo desarrollado sin que nadie lo sepa: Simon, un joven programador, recibe un paquete anónimo aparentemente vacío. Tras deshacerse del envío llega un nuevo paquete. Y después otro, y otro... Comienza a investigar a cuantos le rodean y su paranoia va aumentando hasta límites insospechados. Lo que Simon desconoce es que cada vez que abre los paquetes queda expuesto a un virus computerizado, Nanomites Version 1.0, un experimento desarrollado por una gran corporación que, literalmente, llena su cabeza de anuncios publicitarios. Pero este virus informático se encuentra en fase experimental y también tiene sus fallos. Con sólo unos días para intentar salvar su vida, Simon debe encontrar la solución de esta gran conspiración.
