En el año 2087, la civilización se halla dominada por cyborgs totalitarios. Uno de ellos, Garth, tiene un fallo imprevisto y se rebela contra el poder establecido, viajando en una máquina del tiempo hacia el año 1965 para hallar al científico que inició todo y prevenirle de seguir adelante con sus experimento.
