Desde el infierno (2001)
Basada en la historia de Jack el Destripador y el cómic de Alan Moore. Amanece en Whitechapel, el barrio más sórdido de Londres, donde las drogas, la enfermedad y la miseria campan a sus anchas. Cinco chicas dedicadas a la prostitución se encuentran amenazadas por un terrible monstruo que podría robarles su única posesión: la vida. El único que se toma la molestia por protegerlas es el Inspector Fred Abberline que con la ayuda de su amigo el sargento Godley, trata de desentrañar una espeluznante conspiración. A medida que los salvajes asesinatos se suceden, los dos hombres ven obstaculizado su trabajo por unos superiores más interesados en esconder los crímenes bajo la alfombra que en encontrar al verdadero asesino, un sádico loco destinado a pasar a la historia.
