Al límite (1999)
Frank Pierce es un paramédico que trabaja en el turno de noche en Nueva York. Frank está al borde del colapso, debido al estrés, la falta de sueño y la culpa por no poder salvar a sus pacientes. Frank tiene que lidiar con compañeros excéntricos, enfermeras hostiles, drogadictos, pandilleros y fantasmas de los muertos que le atormentan. Su única esperanza es Mary Burke , la hija de un hombre al que intentó reanimar. Frank se siente atraído por ella y trata de ayudarla a superar su adicción.
