Dana Elaine Owens (nacida el 18 de marzo de 1970), conocida profesionalmente como Queen Latifah, es una rapera, actriz y cantante estadounidense. Nacida en Newark, Nueva Jersey, firmó con Tommy Boy Records en 1989 y lanzó su álbum debut All Hail the Queen el 28 de noviembre de 1989, con el sencillo "Ladies First". Nature of a Sista' (1991) fue su segundo y último álbum con Tommy Boy Records. Latifah interpretó a Khadijah James en la comedia de situación de Fox Living Single de 1993 a 1998.
