Phenomenon (Algo extraordinario más allá del amor) (1996)
George Malley (John Travolta) es un mecánico de carácter afable que está enamorado de una atractiva mujer (Kyra Sedgwick) recién llegada a la ciudad. El día de su cumpleaños, al salir de un bar, George observa una luz en el cielo e inmediatamente sufre un desvanecimiento. Al día siguiente, comprueba que su inteligencia se ha desarrollado de manera anormal y decide utilizarla para hacer el bien. Todo el mundo está intrigado por lo que ha ocurrido, sobre todo el gobierno, que espera utilizar sus conocimientos en otros campos...
