Mujer blanca soltera busca... (1992)
Tras echar a su infiel novio de casa, Alison Jones, una ejecutiva de Nueva York, pone un anuncio en el periódico, buscando a alguien para compartir piso. Hedra Carlson, tímida y poco atractiva, pero muy inteligente, responde al anuncio. Pronto se crea una relación especial entre ellas y se hacen inseparables. Sin embargo, la dependencia de Hedra respecto a Alison va convirtiéndose en algo enfermizo; así, cuando ésta se reconcilia con su novio, unos celos patológicos se apoderan de Hedra, y empieza a ejercer sobre ellos un terrible acoso.
