Jennifer Jason Leigh (nacida Jennifer Leigh Morrow; 5 de febrero de 1962) es una actriz y productora estadounidense. Comenzó su carrera en televisión durante la década de 1970 antes de lograr su gran avance cinematográfico como Stacy Hamilton en Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Más tarde recibió elogios de la crítica por sus actuaciones en Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989), Miami Blues (1990), Backdraft (1991), Single White Female (1992) y Short Cuts (1993). Leigh fue nominada a un Globo de Oro por su interpretación de Dorothy Parker en La señora Parker y el círculo vicioso (1994). Protagonizó una película de 1995 escrita por su madre, la guionista Barbara Turner, titulada Georgia. En 2001, coescribió y codirigió una película con Alan Cumming titulada The Anniversary Party. En 2002, Leigh apareció en la película de drama criminal neo-noir Road to Perdition. En 2007, protagonizó la película dramática familiar Margot at the Wedding. Tuvo un papel recurrente en la serie de comedia dramática Weeds de Showtime como Jill Price-Gray. En 2015, recibió elogios de la crítica por su trabajo de voz como Lisa en Anomalisa de Charlie Kaufman, y por su papel de Daisy Domergue en The Hateful Eight de Quentin Tarantino, por el que fue nominada al Globo de Oro y al Premio de la Academia a la Mejor Actriz de Reparto.
