Lo opuesto al sexo (1998)
Dedee Truitt, que con sólo 16 años sabe mucho de la vida, huye de su casa en Louisiana para irse a Indiana a vivir con su hermanastro Bill. Bill, homosexual y profesor de inglés entregado a su trabajo, disfruta de una buena posición económica gracias a la herencia que le dejó su amante e intenta rehacer su vida sentimental con Matt. Lucia, la mejor amiga de Bill, trata de protegerlo porque no confía en Dedee. Sus sospechas se confirman cuando Dedee seduce a Matt. Este triángulo amoroso se complica aún más cuando Dedee revela que está embarazada y que Matt es el padre.
