Peter Lorre (26 de junio de 1904 - 23 de marzo de 1964) fue un actor austríaco-estadounidense frecuentemente encasillado como un extranjero siniestro. Causó sensación internacional en 1931 con su interpretación de un asesino en serie que se aprovecha de niñas pequeñas en la película alemana M. Más tarde se convirtió en un actor destacado en películas policiales y de misterio de Hollywood, en particular junto a Humphrey Bogart y Sydney Greenstreet, y como el estrella de la exitosa serie de detectives Mr. Moto.
