Pureté volée (2008)
Houston (Texas), début de la première Guerre du Golfe. Jasira, 13 ans, emménage chez son père libanais, renvoyée par sa mère qui supporte mal qu'elle plaise un peu trop à son petit ami. Jasira produit un effet certain sur les hommes ; en particulier sur son nouveau voisin, M. Vuoso, un 'patriote' de l'âge de son père qui laisse négligemment des magazines Playboy sur la table basse du salon... Mais tout cela semble peu à côté des remarques désobligeantes que suscite la peau mate de Jasira. Embarrassée par un corps dont les réactions lui échappent, trop bridée par son père, agressée par son entourage, Jasira est perdue... Tout le monde cherche à la manipuler, sauf Melina, une voisine qui la prend sous son aile.
