Thelma (2024)
Thelma Post, 93 ans, se fait arnaquer par un fraudeur au téléphone qui prétend être son petit-fils. C’est alors qu’elle se lance dans une quête périlleuse à travers la ville pour récupérer ce qui lui a été volé. Thelma est une histoire qui explore le vieillissement, la famille et l’autonomie tout en s’inspirant de films d’action comme Mission : Impossible. Basé sur une expérience vécue par la grand-mère du scénariste et réalisateur Josh Margolin, le film marque avec éclat le premier rôle principal de June Squibb en plus de 70 ans de carrière.
