La Différence (1992)
St Matthews' School est l'une de ces prestigieuses écoles privées américaines où l'élite catholique envoie ses enfants se frotter aux saines valeurs des pionniers. Exceptionnellement, un nouvel élève, issu d'un milieu modeste et de religion juive, est admis en dernière année en raison de ses éminentes qualités intellectuelles et sportives. David Green s'ébroue, tout heureux, dans ce nouveau milieu, si stimulant, dont il attend son épanouissement. Il se forge rapidement de nombreuses amitiés mais, peu à peu, une discipline sévère qui confine au sadisme et un antisémitisme constant font naître quelques doutes dans son esprit...
