Le cher disparu (1965)
Dennis Barlow, récemment arrivé d'Hollywood en Angleterre, découvre qu'il doit arranger l'enterrement de son oncle dans le salon funéraire Whispering Glades, très bien organisé et très rentable. Son fantaisie est attrapé par un de leurs cosméticiens, Aimee Thanatogenos. Mais il a trois problèmes - les règles strictes du propriétaire Bienheureux Reverand Glenworthy, la rivalité de l'embaumeur M. Joyboy, et la honte de travailler maintenant à la maison commémorative des animaux de compagnie.
