The Living Sea (1995)
La Mer Vivante célèbre la beauté et la puissance de l'océan en explorant notre relation avec cet environnement complexe et fragile. À travers de magnifiques images d'eaux intactes et saines, La Mer Vivante offre l'espoir d'un rétablissement de l'environnement marin grâce à des efforts scientifiques et politiques fructueux. Les océanographes qui étudient les baleines à bosse, les méduses et la vie des grands fonds nous montrent que mieux nous comprenons l'océan et ses habitants, mieux nous saurons les protéger. Le film met également en lumière les îles de Palau, dans le Pacifique central, l'un des habitats sous-marins les plus spectaculaires au monde, pour illustrer la beauté , la richesse et le potentiel d'un océan en bonne santé.
