Le Secret de Moonacre (2009)
Dans l'Angleterre victorienne, la jeune Maria Merryweather vient de perdre son père et se retrouve orpheline. Avec pour seul héritage un mystérieux grimoire, elle est désormais obligée d'aller vivre avec sa gouvernante chez son oncle qu'elle ne connaît pas. L'homme habite l'étrange manoir de Moonacre, dans une contrée perdue. La jeune fille n'y est pas la bienvenue. Avec elle, d'anciennes blessures resurgissent et la haine ancestrale qui oppose les Merryweather aux De Noir renaît. Maria ne le sait pas encore, mais une terrible malédiction pèse sur sa famille. De secrets en énigmes, l'intrépide jeune fille plonge dans une aventure qui va la placer au coeur d'une prophétie séculaire. Moonacre et ses créatures magiques sont en danger. Leur sort et celui de deux familles sont entre les mains d'une princesse qui doit accomplir le plus fascinant des destins...
