The Bat Whispers (1930)
Le cambrioleur tristement célèbre "The Bat" commet un vol de bijoux audacieux malgré une forte présence policière. Peu de temps après, un vol de banque se produit, ce qui peut aussi être l'œuvre du criminel. Pendant ce temps, Cornelia Van Gorder fait arriver diverses personnes dans son ancien manoir, dont sa nièce, Dale, un employé de la banque et le détective de police Anderson. Lorsque les invités commencent à devenir morts, Cornelia commence à soupçonner que The Bat pourrait se cacher dans le domaine.
