The American (2010)
The American est un tueur à gages et un maître dans son domaine : froid, précis et toujours en mouvement. Lorsqu’une mission en Suède ne se déroule pas comme prévu, Jack, le nom du héros principal, fait savoir à son contact que sa prochaine mission sera aussi sa dernière. Celle-ci le mène dans un village isolé des Abruzzes, en Italie. Là-bas, contrairement à ses habitudes, Jack se lie d'amitié avec le curé local et entame une liaison avec Clara, une prostituée. Mais plus Jack s'ouvre à son environnement, plus ce professionnel efficace court le risque de devenir lui-même une victime.
