Biographie:

Un acteur, réalisateur, producteur et scénariste américain. Il a reçu trois Golden Globe Awards pour son travail d'acteur et deux Oscars, l'un pour le théâtre et l'autre pour la production. Clooney est également connu pour son activisme politique et fait partie des messagers de la paix des Nations Unies depuis le 31 janvier 2008. Né à Lexington, dans le Kentucky, fils de Nick Clooney, animateur de télévision depuis de nombreuses années, qui a animé un talk-show. à Cincinnati et souvent invité George dans les studios dès l'âge de 5 ans. Évitant la concurrence avec son père, il quitte son emploi de journaliste après un court laps de temps. A étudié quelques années à la Northern Kentucky University. Impossible de rejoindre l'équipe de baseball Cincinnati Reds. Il a commencé à jouer quand son cousin, Miguel Ferrer, lui a donné un petit rôle dans un long métrage. Après cela, il a déménagé à Los Angeles en 1982 et a essayé pendant un an d'obtenir un rôle pendant qu'il dormait dans le placard d'un ami. Son premier film, avec Charlie Sheen, est resté inédit mais a attiré l'attention des producteurs pour des contrats ultérieurs.
