Sang-froid (1996)
Gabriela éprouve une curiosité morbide pour le crime et les tueurs en série. Depuis son enfance, elle tient un journal composé de coupures de presse sur les meurtres les plus horribles. À Miami où elle habite, une vague d'assassinats sauvages ensanglante la ville. Gabriela se fait embaucher dans une société de nettoyage judiciaire, spécialisée dans le ménage des lieux où un crime a été commis. Elle profite de ce travail, qui lui permet de visiter toutes les demeures où le tueur a sévi, pour mener sa propre enquête…
