Le fantôme de la momie (1944)
Yousef Bey a été désigné par le dernier grand prêtre d'Arkam pour ramener en Égypte la dépouille de la princesse Ananka acquise par le musée Scripps, en Nouvelle-Angleterre. Il sera aidé dans sa tâche par Kharis, la momie vivante. Professeur d'égyptologie à l'université de Mapleton, Matthew Norman est étranglé par Kharis, qu'il a malencontreusement ramené à la vie en brûlant les feuilles d'une plante sacrée de l'Ancienne Égypte. Amina, une jeune Égyptienne courtisée par Tom Hervey, est victime d'une crise de somnambulisme chaque fois que Kharis sort de sa tombe...
