Fils d’un nomade irlandais ivrogne devenu sédentaire, Ossie et Tito voient un jour revenir leur grand-père Ward suivi d’un superbe cheval blanc. Ils adoptent l’animal, mais un propriétaire de haras véreux le leur arrache. Le cheval s’échappe et prend la fuite avec ses deux amis, poursuivi par la police et leur père.
