Le Navigateur : Une Odyssée Médiévale (1988)
1348 à Cumbria, petit village d'Angleterre ravagé par la peste noire. Connor revient d'une longue course. C'est alors que Griffin, son jeune frère, lui relate sa vision : il faut payer tribut à Dieu. Il faut hisser une flèche au sommet d'une cathédrale lointaine avant l'aube. Partis à la recherche du monument, ils découvrent un puits dont la rumeur prétend qu'il conduirait de l'autre côté de la Terre. Ils s'enfoncent dans les profondeurs et continuent leur quête jusqu'au monde nouveau, la Nouvelle-Zélande en 1988.
