The Lovers (2017)
Marié à Mary depuis plusieurs années, Michael entretient une relation extraconjugale stable avec Lucy. Or, celle-ci s’impatiente et souhaiterait bien le voir divorcer. Moins convaincu que c’est la chose à faire, Michael achète du temps et se confond en excuses. De son côté, Mary a également un amant. Dans les bras de Robert, elle promet de divorcer très bientôt. Au quotidien, Michael et Mary ont pris les dispositions nécessaires pour ne pas se faire prendre en situation d’adultère. Joel, leur fils unique qui est en visite avec sa nouvelle copine, ignore tout de la vie secrète de ses parents engoncés dans la routine et le mensonge.
