Né dans la mauvaise famille (2017)
Lorsque Max, le frère aîné d'Eric, meurt noyé, la mère d'Eric, Briana, n'arrive pas à faire le deuil de son fils préféré, et tombe en grave dépression. Eric, déjà rongé par la culpabilité de n'avoir pu sauver Max, et complètement délaissé, passe du temps avec la famille de Michael, son entraîneur de baseball. Quand sous l'emprise de l'alcool, Briana commet un crime, elle décide de prendre Eric et de se sauver le plus vite possible. En découvrant qu'il est sur le point d'être arraché à sa famille de substitution qu'il aime, Eric décide de ne pas soutenir sa mère
