Les couleurs du destin (2010)
Gilda est impuissante devant la violence conjugale dont est victime sa voisine, Crystal. Alors que Kelly ne peut pas avoir d'enfant, Nyla doit se faire avorter, tandis que sa sœur, Tangie, cumule les histoires d'un soir, au grand dam de leur mère, Alice, qui voue un culte sans borne à Dieu. Yasmine tente de refaire confiance à un homme, tandis que le mariage de Jo est en déroute et que Juanita essaie d'oublier un ancien amant. Toutes ces femmes vivent, chacune de son côté, une épreuve qui changera sa vie. L'adaptation de la pièce écrite en 1975 par Ntozake Shange sur les difficultés à être une femme de couleur dans le monde actuel.
