Klute (1971)
John Klute est détective privé. Un jour, l'épouse et l'associé de son ami Tom Gruneman, disparu depuis six mois, lui demandent de le retrouver. Il se rend de Pennsylvanie à New York pour mener l'enquête. La seule piste est une call-girl, Bree Daniels, à qui Tom aurait adressé des lettres obscènes.
