Charlot l'émigrant (1917)
Charlot est sur un bateau avec d'autres immigrés à destination de New York. Pendant le voyage, il rencontre une jeune femme qui s'occupe de sa mère malade. Charlot arrive à New York mais il n'a pas d'argent ni de travail. Il trouve une pièce par terre et décide d'aller au restaurant. Il y retrouve la femme du bateau qui est très triste car on devine que sa mère est morte...
