Henry Bergman (23 février 1868 – 22 octobre 1946) était un acteur américain de théâtre et de cinéma, connu pour sa longue collaboration avec Charlie Chaplin. Né à San Francisco, en Californie, il fit ses débuts au théâtre, notamment dans Henrietta en 1888 au Hollis Street Theater de Boston et dans la tournée du Sénateur en 1892 et 1893. Il fit ses débuts à Broadway en 1899. Sa première apparition au cinéma eut lieu dans The L-KO Kompany en 1914, à l'âge de quarante-six ans. En 1916, Bergman commença à travailler avec Charlie Chaplin, notamment sur Le Prêteur sur gages. Tout au long de sa carrière, il resta un acteur de second rôle pour Chaplin et travailla comme assistant de studio, notamment comme assistant réalisateur. Il joua dans de nombreux courts métrages de Chaplin et plus tard dans des longs métrages, tels que L'Émigrant, La Ruée vers l'or et Le Cirque. La dernière apparition de Bergman à l'écran fut dans Les Temps modernes, où il incarnait un gérant de restaurant. Sa dernière contribution hors écran fut pour Le Dictateur en 1940. Chaplin aida Bergman à financer un restaurant à Hollywood, Henry's, qui devint un lieu prisé des célébrités et préfigura le futur restaurant Brown Derby. Henry Bergman resta associé aux studios Chaplin jusqu'à sa mort d'une crise cardiaque en 1946. Il repose au cimetière Hillside Memorial Park de Culver City, en Californie.
