Just Married (ou presque) (1999)
C'est la troisième fois que Maggie Carpenter, charmante jeune femme, fuit au moment fatidique du oui devant l'autel et le prêtre. Cette fâcheuse manie lui vaut une certaine notoriété dans la pittoresque bourgade de Hale dans le Maryland, ou l'on attend avec une curiosité narquoise sa quatrième escapade. C'est alors qu'Ike Graham, journaliste new-yorkais, en panne d'inspiration et en quête d'un sujet facile à quelques heures du bouclage de son journal, apprend l'histoire de Maggie.
