Né le 2 avril 1961 à Washington, D.C., Christopher Meloni est un acteur américain connu pour sa présence intense à l’écran. Il se fait remarquer dans les années 1990 avec des rôles dans L’Armée des 12 singes (1995) et Bound (1996). À la télévision, il devient une figure emblématique en incarnant le détective Elliot Stabler dans New York, unité spéciale (1999-2011, puis 2021-), rôle qui lui vaut une nomination aux Emmy Awards. Il excelle également dans des séries comme Oz (1998-2003), où il joue le criminel Chris Keller, et True Blood (2012). Au cinéma, il apparaît dans Man of Steel (2013) et Sinister (2012). Reconnu pour son charisme et sa polyvalence, Meloni reste une icône du petit écran.
