Récemment divorcée, Lauren organise des mariages avec sa patronne ingrate et avare, Gennifer. Alors quand le plus riche commerçant de la ville organise les noces de sa fille gâtée et volage, Gennifer promet une promotion à Lauren si elle honore de son mieux ce juteux contrat.
