L'ange impur (1938)
Lors de la 1ère guerre mondiale (14-18), Bill Pettigrew, un jeune soldat Texan plutôt naïf est envoyé à New York pour sa formation militaire. Il rencontre l'actrice Daisy Heath lorsque celle-ci faillit le renverser avec sa voiture. Daisy accepte de feindre d'être sa petite amie pour impressionner ses amis, alors qu'une vraie romance commence entre eux.
