David F. Reynolds est un scénariste américain reconnu pour son travail dans l’animation. Débutant en 1993 comme scénariste pour Late Night with Conan O’Brien, il rejoint Disney et Pixar en 1995. Il contribue à 1001 Pattes (1998), Toy Story 2 (1999), Mulan (1998), et Fantasia 2000 (1999). Scénariste principal de Kuzco, l’empereur mégalo (2000), il est nommé aux BAFTA. Pour Le Monde de Nemo (2003), il co-écrit le scénario, obtenant une nomination aux Oscars et un Annie Award. Plus récemment, il a co-écrit The Garfield Movie (2024). Reynolds vit à Los Angeles avec sa famille.
