Biographie:

D'après Wikipédia, l'encyclopédie libre Jane Russell (21 juin 1921 – 28 février 2011) était une actrice américaine et l'un des sex-symbols les plus en vue d'Hollywood dans les années 1940 et 1950. Originaire du Midwest, elle s'installe en Californie où elle décroche son premier rôle au cinéma en 1943 dans le film « The Outlaw ». En 1947, elle se lance dans la musique avant de revenir au cinéma. Après avoir joué dans de nombreux films dans les années 1950, elle se consacre à nouveau à la musique tout en tournant dans plusieurs autres films dans les années 1960. Elle a joué dans plus de 20 films au cours de sa carrière. Mariée trois fois, elle adopte trois enfants et fonde en 1955 le World Adoption International Fund. Pour sa carrière cinématographique, elle reçoit de nombreuses distinctions, notamment l'empreinte de ses mains et de ses pieds sur le parvis du Grauman's Chinese Theatre et une étoile sur le Hollywood Walk of Fame.
